He is the best actor! Underrated, which I hope will be corrected!
Yep…Dalton is a great actor. I’ve never understood why Hollywood doesn’t use him more often.
Non is quite audible!
Vou Lembrar do Meu Irmão pra Sempre, Uma Pessoa que passou pela terra e só plantou Amor . Não ficou devendo nada a ninguém. Essa canção representa muito ele. Obrigado pelo vídeo.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss and I am glad the video helps you remember your brother. Take care…thanks for your comment, friend.
@@MichaelMcCormackMusicObrigado pelas palavras de conforto. Deus te Abençoe
It has now been 49 years since it's theatrical release and 50 years since it was filmed.
Michael Myers
Great concert! Love the Psychedelic Furs especially Love my Way
I felt the most sympathy for Kong in this version.
Very cool. Love 76 Kong.
Great stuff here. Subbed
Welcome friend! Thanks 🙏
Thank you. I didn't know this was even available. And it's everything you say it is. And I have deep personal ties to it. I was in college when the book came out and graduated when the movie came out.
Legendary Police movie 🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵
The musical editing gave me seizures.😢
Classic. This movie was bad.just bad.the effects were underwhelming. The acting cheesy. It disappointed on so many levels. Saw this as a small kid and knew immediately it stunk.the ads ,toys ,and promos were ok.
Am i the only one who thinks the first hook sounds almost like the small ding in the beginning of the score from Spider-Man (2002) 🤔...???
I think of Final Fantasy 7.
That was awesome! Looked and felt exactly what you might've seen back in the day. Great job! :)
Thank you! Pretty fun stuff!
Perice is my favourite movie Bond.... But Dalton is my favourite Book Bond. Dalton is playing Bond as he was in the early Fleming novels. Brosnan plays Bond mixing Connery and Moore together.
They’re really all great in their own way, but Dalton sure did capture a lot in his two films. Pierce had to grow on me but I watch his movies more and more these days, they’re fun!
un grand sens musical ce Monsieur Newman Thanks for posting
To me, GoldenEye is the third best Bond movie. Pierce is the second best Bond
And his father was a very important person in the world of organize crime . Albert anatazxia . The mad hater . And I will leave there . That’s Jack 0’Halloran . Family Legaacy book . I have not readed it yet .
I just listen to a voice that discusses The life of actor and boxer Jack O’Halloran . Who wrote the story into this book about who was is true father . I came across Jack in a film called Farewell my Lovely . Where he play’s a gangster looking for his girlfriend Velma . You have in the film top actor’s like Robert Mitchum , actor John Irland , Sylvester Stallone , and Anthony Zebe . The film is excellent . I give it 5 stars
Great chat, thanks guys. Kong76 is my King 👑 Kong. It's a movie of it's time but it's a great one. There's more heart in it and we miss those movie's era.
Thanks for listening and commenting! It’s a great movie!🍿
Yeah I remember having more empathy for Jack Nicholson’s Joker than for Michael Keaton’s Batman back in 1989.
My mom and i were on the Universal Tour, and on the back lot, there was a giant plane fuselage, in a big pit..no water.. and they said it was for the new Airport Movie I'll never forget that sight!
Very cool! I bet that was something to see! Thanks for sharing!
Oh Man, I LOVE Thomas Newman ( what a movie music DYNASTY that family is! ) & this music was SO beautiful. Just ridiculous! I bought the soundtrack for it, only to discover that NONE of it was on there! Only the "hit" songs. Kidding me??? After all these years I happened to think of UA-cam and...Here you are!!!! Thanks so much for posting!😊
Hope you enjoy! It’s beautiful music!
Jean Coulter is so pretty!
Yes, she is! Thanks for watching!
Excellent, interview!
Thank you!
The boys can still bring home the bacon . Love that outro
Jack O'Halloran was a great talent he looked different in all of his roles. My favorite is Max in Baltimore Bullet. Anyway, I think Brando is one of the greatest actors of all time but he was not worth $4M. They could have gotten many other accomplished actors for a fraction. Why not the stately Christopher Lee, Oliver Reed or Clint Walker to play Jor-El? It's hilarious that Jack knows everything about everyone and has inside info and detailed files 😂😂 He's a compelling storyteller and I don't care if it's BS
Hi Zombie, I think the motivation with getting Brando, was that the Salkinds pre-sold the movie for distribution internationally before it was made, and having Brando (after the Godfather’s success), meant a bonafide star would “carry” the picture instead of an unknown. Brando, along with Gene Hackman, would make investors feel confident in putting money into the project. And it worked. They raised so many millions, giving Brando a few million was just pampering the golden goose. I was a kid at the time, so I have no idea. Lol Jack is definitely a character and a tough guy. He says exactly what he thinks and means. He doesn’t give a f(ugh)…a care about what anybody thinks. He’s got stories that involve some of the biggest stars, powerful people and athletes. He’s boxed some of the greatest boxers of all time. You may dispute his claims, but after talking with him for hours, I’m not gonna…haha…Thanks for watching!
I 💕😘 this movie it's my favorite Kong movie and my favorite movie and the others are not as good
Have you seen the interview that BigJackFilms did with director John Guillermin's widow?
Yes, I might have her on sometime. Thanks for watching.
A great representation of Moose Malloy. See Mike Mazurki in an earlier version of "Farewell" in the 1940s, "Murder My Sweet."
My favourite scene from the film - along with the near-miss for the diver in the kelp weeds, and the (extended) helicopter downing / Marge's death. Definitely, the best of the JAWS sequels.
That first side-angle shot when the fin slowly rises up behind the boat and skier is chilling. Eddie’s death with Tina shouting “Swim, Eddie, swim!” is pretty classic too. Good stuff!
Great movie. Farewell, my lovely.
Thanks for watching!
Jack sounds amazingly like Joe Biden.
Excellent production Michael, great questions and you gave Jack time to answer. The music was great as well, reminiscent of the sweeping misic from the movies from the 70's.
Thanks for the encouragement! Hope you are doing well! More to come! Cheers
It was chuck wepner not jack o halloran , because stallone saw wepner vs ali in 1975 , went home and wrote rocky , apollo creed muhammad ali get it ? This guys all bullshit , he says lucky luciano lived to 102, he embellishes , all nonsense , hes gianni russo , anthony raimondi all rolled into one
😂😂 Jack also said that he was supposed to get an Oscar for Farewell my Lovely, Robert Mitchum told him he was the greatest actor since James Dean and Brando 🤣🤣
Stallone should have used Jack O'Halloran in the film, real missed opportunity. Stallone prob didn't want to be outshined by a huge guy like Jack, he was good with 5'7" Burt Young.
Jack would have been a intimidating opponent for sure!
I remember when this movie was released, I wanted to see it so bad. However, my parents had taken me to see Jaws the year before and it had scared the s**t outta me so I had to wait until it was shown on TV several years later
I used to think Jaws was going to jump on my bed and eat me and King Kong was going to reach through my window and grab me. So your parents weren’t terribly wrong. Lol
@@MichaelMcCormackMusic I lived in Phoenix so swimming was a huge part of the summer months. Except for that summer of 1975
I feel like Jack is far tougher in real life than any characters he's played. Pretty amazing interview!
He’s the real deal! Thanks for watching and commenting!
What an enjoyable look into Eric Red's impressive body of work! Body Parts and 100 Feet have been two of my all time favorites for years. I remember vividly the 'media push' when Body Parts got shelved due to the whole Dahmer BS hitting the public consciousness. I genuinely felt for Eric, the studio and the entire team frankly as this seriously side lined the movie and just gave us one more reason these blasted serial killer's need to get a damn life! Just infuriating... Red's love for slow burn suspense and genuinely built story arcs are what it's all about. Love how he discusses his insistence on integrating ONLY ONE scene of horrific violence in 100 Feet. Such a smart move and HOLY CRAP does that supernatural murder scene pack a serious punch! It's completely understandable why Red, (and you) would gravitate to flicks like The Exorcist, but it can't be overstated what a crying shame it is that nobody truly held Friedkin's ugly cloven hoofs to the freakin flames when he was alive. Yes, the movie is ground breaking and well produced with a solid script and top-drawer actors but If the crucifix BS wasn't bad enough, he also flatly disregarded Ellen Burstyn's serious pleas for the stunt coordinator on the yank wire to take it easy as he hoisted her full force into that freaking table. The fact he ended up yanking her even harder via the director's order and permanently injured her back, (for real) in that final take which of course is the one he used, makes him a true creep of the worst kind. One who puts his projects above all else, even the safety of his actors. A real schmuck if you ask me. Major kudos to you though Michael, once again you've hit another top-drawer documentary out of the park. Perhaps you'll give some of mine a go. They're around, and available to view here on UA-cam. Check your FB page pm's, I'll message you a link with a few of my shorts and some accompanying reviews/write-ups. Cheers!
Sounds great! Thanks again for watching and sharing, Michael! Eric is the man! Cheers
GREAT editing here Michael... it truly is all in the 'choreography of editing'... you really do have great instincts that way. Cheers and congratulations on this!
Thanks for the encouragement! I believe we’re friends on Facebook. Feel free to stay in touch and let me know if you ever need any help. Cheers!
Great scene! Absolutely terrifying!
Thanks for watching!
its 1814 pm here in uk doing the washing up in my kitchen what a fab listen really enjoyed it yes i was 15 at the time in 1978 and when JAWS 2 opened here on boxing day at the ABC cinema it was great i am a big fan of the original JAWS but boy this one more than did the job music score was on the money screened it in my little cinema my grand children were scared and enjoyed it to me it looks and acts just like a STEVEN SPIELBERG film and still does to this day. BEST.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it! Good luck with the dishes.
Do you remember crashing the first boat into the camera barge??😂 I was the guy in charge of all the picture boats
I’ll ask Jean about this! Haha Thanks!
I love this movie
Licence to Kill was one of the most under-marketed Bond films in the United States upon its release in 1989. Its dark and violent tone earned the film a PG-13 rating, but it also didn't help that several big movies were also debuting that summer as well. They were: "Batman" "Back to the Future, Part II" "Ghostbusters II" "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" "Look Who's Talking" Yet ever since '89, Licence to Kill has become regarded as one of the all-time Bond classics among fans.
Jessica Lange 75 !!! * 20 April 1949 * 20 April 2024 * Happy birthday goddess !!! ***** KING KONG 1976 IS THE BEST KING KONG MOVIE EVER-EVER-EVER !!!
My favorite King Kong film, Kong looks like the Ultimate Warrior Jim Hellwig
Kong is badass in the 76 one! PS: cool zombie avatar.
Jack should have had a part in the Rocky films along with legendary Uncle Joe Spinell plus Jack should have been asked to play the role of Salami in Paradise Alley instead of Lee Canalito
Jack has a connection to Rocky I’ll be posting about soon. Thanks for watching!
